How to deal with exam Results stress for (HSSLC & HSLC Students) By Jacob Sundas

It's almost time for all the HSSLC & HSLC students across the State to receive their exam results and many will be experiencing feelings of anxiety and stress.

The pressure put on young students during exam season can often make them feel like results day is the most important day of their life. But as a young students we should cope with results day stress. It goes without saying but be positive and hopeful no matter the outcome.

It's normal to feel stressed before exam results but too much of it is not good for your peace of mind.

How to reduce stress at exam results time.

Here are some things to try when it comes to reducing your stress levels while you wait for your results.

• Talk to a friend and confide in them about how you're feeling.

• Express yourself through talking with family members, meeting your friends,  listening music, etc as a way to relieve tension.

• As a young Students live one day at a time, and stop worrying about ‘tomorrow’.

• Think about talking to your Special ones sometimes it can be good to talk to someone you loved the most.

• Know and accept your strengths and weaknesses as a Student.

• Remember that Hurting yourself, Consuming Alcohol, etc  won’t reduce stress; it will only make things worse.

My humble opinion, not all of these suggestions will work for everyone. You may need to try a few different things before you find what works for you.

Stay home stay safe
