World Sunday school Day 2019
On this auspicious Day I greet you all in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
At the very day, I give my revolutionary salute to all those pioneer leaders of church who have paid their everything for the Sunday School Department. They are always in our memories. Because it was only by His Grace and Divine Intervention, that we could come this far.
So on the occasion of world Sunday school Day 2019 I would like you to take back to the formation of our church Sunday school dept.

Formation of Sunday School Department Nepali Baptist Church Chumukedima
The first Sunday school was started under the initiative of Mrs. Rebecca Karthak in April 1979.
Understanding the need for a strong future of the Church, she took aside all the children during the inaugural service of the NBC and taught them songs from the word of God.
She continued to be the Sunday school teacher till she left Nagaland. Then, Mrs. Jyoti Roy took up the challenge to lead the young minds in the Lord and to raise them as the future church leaders.
Ever since, the Sunday School remains an integral part of the church in nurturing the young minds in the fear of the Lord through the several Sunday School teachers who are still continuing the Lord's work" At
present, there are more than 80+ children attending the Sunday school under the care and guidance of committed Sunday School teachers.
